We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Rotaional Radiographer (Band 5) to join our Radiology / Imaging team at The London Clinic, based across our imaging department sites in London. We are offering a competitive hourly rate.

Job Profile:
As a bank radiographer, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services across our specialist modalities, including General X-ray, CT, Fluoroscopy, and Interventional Radiology. Key Duties:
To provide high-quality radiographic services to patients across a range of imaging modalities. This includes:
• Acting as an Operator under IR(ME)R 2017, assessing clinical justification of referrals and minimising radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Performing General X-ray (inpatient and outpatient), Portable X-ray, Theatre X-ray, CT Imaging, Fluoroscopy, and Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Positioning patients accurately and adapting technique according to individual clinical need.
• Maintaining accurate legal documentation on the Radiology Information System (Soliton) and PACS for each patient episode.
• Communicating effectively with referrers, radiologists, and patients – including obtaining informed consent and relaying urgent findings appropriately.
• Participating in the departmental on-call rota and responding flexibly to service needs.
• Ensuring safe use and maintenance of imaging equipment, reporting faults as required.
• Adhering to The London Clinic’s policies including Radiation Protection, Infection Control, COSHH, Health & Safety, and Information Governance.
Skills & Experience:
• BSc in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• Active HCPC registration.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in general, theatre, mobile imaging, and fluoroscopy procedures (student or post-graduate level).
• Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems.
• Good understanding of legislation relating to Radiation Protection, Infection Control, and Health & Safety.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible and service-focused approach.
Desirable:
• Post-registration experience and basic knowledge of additional modalities such as CT, MRI, or Breast Imaging.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD activities.
• Knowledge of Clinical Audit and Quality Assurance within Imaging.
