The departments provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional procedures to the population of Leeds. In addition, significant numbers of referrals from other areas of the region and beyond are received for specialist procedures. Within the departments there are six MRI scanners, seven CT scanners, five angiographic facilities (excluding cardiac catheter labs, three newly installed in April 2009), ultrasound and general radiographic imaging facilities are available at all sites, Nuclear Medicine services are available at St Jamess Bexley wing and Leeds General Infirmary.
