Are you an experienced and motivated leader in diagnostic imaging? We’re seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Manager to head our Imaging Department and drive excellence in patient care. The Role
As Radiology Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage the radiology team to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality imaging services
- Ensure compliance with Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R) and all clinical governance standards
- Drive service improvement initiatives, including audits, quality assurance, and policy development
- Oversee departmental budgets and resources, ensuring cost-efficiency and alignment with hospital business plans
- Provide strong leadership, coaching, and support to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
- Maintain patient safety and excellent standards of care, ensuring informed consent and promoting equality and diversity
- Act as an ambassador for Spire Healthcare, communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and senior management
Who were looking for:
- HCPC registered Radiographer with significant experience in diagnostic imaging.
- BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Proven leadership and management experience within a radiology setting
- Strong knowledge of IR(ME)R and clinical governance requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- A passion for quality improvement and patient-centred care
- Experience in RIS/PACS and IEP systems management
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Passion to deliver high quality diagnostic services
- MRI experience would be preferable
