Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Radiology Consultant to a healthcare team in the Midlands. As a Radiology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert medical imaging and interventional radiology services to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and diagnose medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other radiological images
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop treatment plans based on imaging findings
• Perform minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records of all radiology procedures and patient interactions
• Stay up to date with current best practices and advancements in the field of radiology
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior radiology staff

Qualifications

• Medical degree and completion of accredited residency program in radiology
• GMC Registration or in the process of applying for GMC Registration
• Valid state medical license and in good standing with the medical board
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment

Day-to-day

As a Radiology Consultant, your day-to-day activities will include interpreting medical images, consulting with colleagues on patient cases, performing interventional procedures, educating and mentoring staff, and staying current with advances in radiology. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population while upholding the principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion.
